Minister Linda M. Kennedy Speed is a native of Mayesville, South Carolina. She is the daughter of the late James and Lorene Kennedy. Minister Speed is a graduate of Mayewood High School, The Sawyer School of Business in Rochester, New York, and is currently a student in the Christian Life School of Theology, a division of Beacon Seminary in Columbus, Georgia.

Minister Speed is a member of Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter South Carolina, under the leadership of Dr. Marion H. Newton. She has been a faithful member of Jehovah for the past twenty-one years. She currently serves in Ministry executing the duties of an Associate Minister, Devotional Leader for the Sisterhood Ministry, member of the Pastor's Support Ministry, advisor to the Young Woman's Auxiliary (YWA), Bible & Book Study Teacher for Women's Study Groups and she is an ordained church Trustee.

Minister Speed is the immediate past President of the State Baptist Young Woman's Auxiliary of the Baptist E&M Woman's Convention of South Carolina, past President of the Sumter Baptist Association's Young Woman's Auxiliary, and former member of the Board of Trustees of Morris College. Minister Speed was honored as an Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1997, received a Presidential Citation from the President of Morris College for dedicated service rendered to Morris College while serving as President of the State Baptist Young Woman's Auxiliary, and recognition from the Board of Trustees. Her greatest achievement after salvation is being hand picked by God to spread the Gospel through preaching and teaching His Word. She was licensed to preach on July 24, 2005.

She is also the author of a devotional book entitled "Excelsior Praise;" Excelling to a Higher Level of Praise through Meditation and Devotion. Minister Speed is the founder and CEO of an exciting new vision from God called Kingdom Impact Ministries; whose mission is to serve people of all ages and cultures by ministering to the total person, spiritually, physically and emotionally, transforming their lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Kingdom Impact has been given life to turn the world upside down for the Kingdom. It is with a humble and obedient spirit that she submits her life and all of her energy into being a servant of the most high God. Not for fortune or fame, not that men and women might know her name, but that the name of Jesus might be known throughout the land.
